What does the icon that looks like a speedometer on the task tray do?
There is an icon like a speedometer on the task tray. What is it for?

The icon like a speedometer is called "CPU Status Icon".

The computer to which PowerPanel Ver.4.0 is installed can display "CPU Status Icon" on the task tray of the computer that contains the CPU supporting the Intel SpeedStep technology.
* The computer that can edit the "CPU performance" items with the Edit/Create Profile function of PowerPanel

"CPU Status Icon" can indicate the current status of the CPU when you place the pointer of a pointing device (e.g. mouse) on "CPU Status Icon" and it can open the menu to switch the
status of the CPU when you right-click on it. For example, right-click "CPU Status Icon" to switch the status from "Battery Optimized Performance" to "Maximum Performance" during the battery operation and you can get the maximum performance of the CPU temporarily.

(Note)
The CPU status switched with "CPU Status Icon" remains enabled until the status is switched again or the system is shut down.
When you want to keep the status in "Optimized Performance" or "Maximum Performance" regardless of the status of power supply, you need to edit or create a profile.
