Termination of TV Software Updates for certain models - Updated on 22nd Aug 2024

Thank you for your continued interest in Sony products.

In line with Sony’s security policy regarding software update maintenance, download services for software updates of some older Sony TV models will end progressively.

For the latest list of affected models and termination dates, please click here.

If your model is in the list and already past the termination date, it will no longer be possible to download the software updates from Sony’s support website. If you need further support, please contact us.

If your model is in the list but has not been terminated yet, please download the latest software/firmware for your TV before the stated termination date.

If the current software version on your TV is the same or higher than the latest version specified on Sony’s support website, your TV is already running the latest software and an update is not required.

Software addressing product security concerns may be released in the future, depending on the necessity.
