Why are there noises or dropouts when playing back the recorded song?

Noises or dropouts can be heard when playing back the recorded song.

Please check the following:

A. Check the buffer size and the number of buffers.
Depending on the buffer size and number of buffers in the settings, noises and dropouts may occur to the recorded song.
Increase the buffer size and the number of buffers with the steps below and then re-record the song.

Note:
If the buffer size and the number of buffers are increased, the time delay between pushing the Play button to the actual start of sound reproduction becomes longer. It is recommended to set the buffer size and the number of buffers to the minimum values within the suitable range that does not cause dropouts.

1. Click Start -> All Programs -> SonicStage Mastering Studio -> SonicStage Mastering Studio.
2. Click the Menu tab and then click Options.
3. Click Standard Device, click Buffer Size and Number of Buffersto increase the values.
4. Click OK.

B. Check if other types of software are running concurrently
When other programs are running concurrently during the recording of songs, noises may be recorded or dropouts may occur.
Close all programs except SonicStage Mastering Studio before recording any song.

C. Check if a screen saver is enabled
If a screen saver starts during the recording of songs, noises may be recorded or dropouts may occur.
Disable the screen saver before recording any song.
