How can I start an application temporarily as a different user at the time of the startup of Windows 2000?
Try the following procedures.
When you right-click a shortcut icon in the start menu or a folder while pressing the Shift key and select "Run As . . .", you can run an application temporarily as a different user.
1. While pressing the Shift key, right-click an application that you wish to run temporarily as a different user from the start menu or a folder and select "Run as . . .".
2. Specify the user that temporarily runs the program by inputting its name in the "User name" column and type a password in the "Password" column. Press "OK" and the application starts.
These procedures are not applicable to Sony Notebook Setup. Logoff the system once and logon the system again to start it.
You cannot execute all the applications in this method. When you cannot execute it, logoff the system once and log it on again to boot the system as an authorized user.
